Good place, near to the beach and near a shopping mall. The room
and bathroom were clean as well as the towels. The room have
tea/coffee sachets to prepare your own coffee any time. Great
breakfast and really nice staff.

Hobie beach is ideally situated right along the beach. The rooms
were neat with clean fresh linen. Rooms are spacious enough as
we travelled with my two kids so we used Hobie Beach Guest house
as our over night stop enroute Cape Town. It is also directly
opposite Board Walk Casino and Enertainment World. Many
restaurants nearby. Hobie Beach has an excellent breakfast
buffet. My family loved the stay there. Thanks Lyn for the warm
hospitality!

“Pleasant and friendly service!”
My stay at Hobie Beach Guest House was pleasant, the hostess and
staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room and facility
was great and a scrumptious variety breakfast was served. Close
to beach, airport,university and next to Boardwalk shopping
center and easily accessible! Enjoyed!
“Best place in Summerstrand”
We've stayed here every year for the past 5 for the Ironman
event and we thoroughly enjoy it. Lyn and Fred make everyone
feel at home, and it just makes your stay that much more
comfortable and enjoyable.
The breakfast options are vast and delicious, from cereal and
porridge to fresh fruit and muffins, and then you have the
option of adding the hot breakfast as well.
They offer us an early breakfast on race day, which translates
to eating breakfast at 4:30am. Heaven alone knows what time they
start preparing, but this is yet another example of that extra
bit they offer their guests.
The rooms are comfortable and each have a bar fridge, microwave
and kettle.
It's within walking distance to the Boardwalk complex for meals
or entertainment, and about 200m walk down to the beach and
pier.
“Perfect”
Excellent location, comfy rooms, perfect hosts and a great
breakfast. Lyn and Fred go above and beyond to make sure you
have everything you need - including running me to and from the
local bike shop to get a last minute fix!

Best Guest House I have stayed in. Welcomed with open arms and
made to feel at home. Breakfast and coffee every morning was
perfect. Will be back next year, walking distance to everything
you need in Port Elizabeth. Lynn and Fred are top hosts.

Can't mention here without the breakfasts too. Great coffee on
tap with a buffet that never ends....generally end up sitting
there for hours enjoying it! Being just a 3 minute walk to the
beach, on top of the service, the location is just perfect!
